No pics of the specific parts for this versión, yet.
Only of the already known -and quite old- basic Magach 6 sprues...
Still not sure if I'll give it a try

I'm going to wait till Academy post some built up pics on their site, then I'll decide
I've pretty much stopped buying kits right when they're released in general.. unless I've already seen pics of them

Shame it isn't an all-new kit, but it looks pretty good all the same. I'll go for one.

Cool , and I for one don't care if there are older parts in there. If it was my company I'd do exactly the same thing and get the most out that what's already available.
And hey, is that the correct price 218 HKD - 21€? if so I'll get
2 just for the old parts
Paul

It's on my short list too. One thing I like, they got rid of the goofy soft plastic road wheel tires that don't take paint. That's a plus right there. Also, the belly armor looks like it'll cover all the motorization holes nicely.
I'd bet real money that all the new parts would work just fine on the old Esci/Italeri kit as well, and it's got a better hull that the Tamiya/Academy kit.
I'm currently beating my head against the wall, working through the Legends 6-MEM conversion on an Academy hull, and this kit looks just the part to get me back to enjoyable modeling.

That looks really nice.
I'm quite a fan of Academy nowadays - their molding and presentation are top-notch, and they've greatly improved their accuracy over the last few years.

Looks like the kit is out with Korean ebay sellers.

It's strange that the price they're asking in Korea is higher than the price Hobbyeasy is asking in HK? I thought for sure it would be less in Korea... unless there's a mistake in Hobbyeasy's price!

more likely they are taking advantage of the fact that it isn't available anywhere else yet. I suspect the price will come down after it is out everywhere.

Agree, this is a usual practice there on ebay.
If you have patience, in less tan a month you'll find this kit quite cheaper tan now

Looking at the deliver dates, if you order this its estimated to come late December or early January. I would think you might get it from Lucky or Hobbyeasy first even with the month delay before they have it in stock, if those numbers are accurate.

False alarm, apparently. The seller emailed me telling me that they aren't actually in stock and not expected until 12/20. That's 20 days after Hobbyeasy lists...

Shelf prices for other brands' kits in Korea are generally five to ten percent higher, but Academy's kits are dirt cheap, being sold in all of the PX's and toys stores I've found on the local economy.
I can certainly wait until I go back to get this one since I already have way too many projects (most not even model related) going on.
Tax free and no shipping. Yeah, that's the ticket.
