From the look of them, I guess they are 3D printed even if the flash around the sprockets is surprising for this type of "casting".

I don't think 3d printing can ever leave "flash". I'd say only 'mother' model is printed and then cast the usual way.

I'll stick to metal or plastic. Resin tracks and I don't get along. They sure do look nice though.
