BEAUTIFUL light tent - great design!

One more addition to give even a bit more front light: Cut a round hole in the center of a white piece of artboard such that it will friction fit over the barrel of you camera lens.
Shoot through this and you will have even more front fill light in your lightbox.

As to an easy to find defuser paper; most US grocery stores sell Parchment Paper in their baking section. All you could need for just a few bucks and perhaps a nice kitchen gift for your wife as well!

Excellent!

I am using Lightroom. It is easy to apply all setting to the whole set and there are good autotools - auto whitebalance, autoexposure, etc.

After trying: GIMP, Adobe Light room and Microsoft photo manager and PhotoShop
I obtained the best results from adobe light room.
I will stick to it

Awesome, Lightroom is a great program. I'm glad that its (relatively) cheap to buy. Adobe software is notoriously expensive; with that in mind I'm wondering how such a powerful program is so inexpensive.

What a great build!!! Simply awesome!!!

Did that feature ever came reality? Would you care to share the dimensions of the main components you have been using?

Thanks so much for sharing this!

Hi Hussein,
if you want all our photos are in focus perfectly, especially if the subjects are big, you must use the “HDR” system and the relative PC programs for the elaboration of these pictures.
The HDR system – if it’s present in the menu of our camera - shots three photos of the same subject with different diaphragms (+1 ; 0 ; -1) and then the program merges them. If your camera hasn't the HDR program, then for you is necessary to shot these three types of photos.
This because the photo with diaphragm closed (-1) has most ground profundity but it’s very dark and poor of details, the photo with 0 diaphragm is correct for the light and rich of details and the photo with open diaphragm (+1) has much more light but is poor of details.
When the program merges the three photos, the final image is perfectly on focus and rich of all details and lights are correct and balanced.
If you visit, for example, the Canon site on WEB, you will find some tutorials on the HDR techniques and the explanations on programs for use them.
I hope to have helped you.
Cheer

Thanks Gianfranco for the interesting information.
I will check if my camera has this function.
Could you give me an idea which pc softwares are used to handle this type of HDR system.
I inderstand from you that the camera takes three seperste photos and the software is used to combine them in one perfect photo, this seems very interesting. Please let me know more details about it

Thanks

Hussein

Hi Hussein, there are more programs to realise HDR’s photos. One of the best is “Dynamic Photo-HDR”, a professional program, not so user friendly ad fast and not free.
Another program very good is “Easy HDR PRO”, that also support the RAW format. Also this program isn’t free. I know both because they are used by one of my friends.
I instead use “Fusion”, one of the most popular free program, very simply and fast to use and not so heavy for the PC. If I shot my photos in the RAW format, I use alternatively the good and free program “Picturenaut”, very simply and immediately to use.
I also have known that even the last release of PhotoShop has one special instrument to realise HDR photo, starting by one normal shot, but I don't know other.
Cheers
