Looks awesome. I really like the streaking of the witewash and the shading on the engine grates.

It is looking nice. It looks battle weary but ready for more action. The White wash is nice and not over done. Who makes this kit?

The kit is Tamiyas t-34/76 model 1943 i belive. I dont have to box or instructions handy so i think its the 43' model. I took some more pics, these new ones are closer and a bit clearer too. Please take a look.

Did you use a primer on this kit. If so what color. I am doing a t34/76 kit and have no idea what color to use for primer

Hi, well once i had the model painted in the russian armor green, i then took my insignia white paint and a rather lagre stiff bristled brush, then i removed some of the paint from the brush and dabbed at the tank to try and replicate the look of a feild applied whitewash, it looked pretty good then. I then took a smaller fine brush that i dipped in thinner and started to streak the white wash to make it look like it was washed away from a rain storm. After i had streaked the entires tank then i weathered it with pastels. This was my first attempt at a whitewash, and i am rather pleased with the results. Thanks for the comments and i hope that that expalined it.

You know, the more I look at that, Ive gotta say, that is the best whitewash i have ever seen. I like the political slogan, and how it just sort of shows up through the wash. I hope I can do a wash that good. Too bad that Tamiya lower hull is so plain, with the screw holes in it.

Great worn whitewash effect.
Maybe add some exhaust stains around the exhaust pipes(?)
Looking good,

Andrew

I have to say that u have made an excellent work and the white wash and weatherd effect is nice. I d suggest that u could make some bending - damaging on the exaust cover that usually are bad treated.
