Greetings:
I've been away from military modeling for about two years and recently got the urge to again give it a try, so the attached pics of the Russian S-65 Tractor are presented here for a look see.
This is an out of box build, but some license has been taken with the model. The concept is that the driver/crew are tired of being wide open targets while operating the tractor,--- so scrap metal plates have been bolted on to provide some cover, (and through some opportunistic trading/scavenging), a 50 cal (with mount) was acquired to provide some offensive punch if needed. To provide a bit more storage, scrap steel has been bolted to the deck to carry some additional ammo and fuel cans. All this is probably a bit far fetched, but I simply wanted to do something a bit different. Comments welcome, and it feels good to be back in military modeling mode again. Thanks. Steve

Is there anyway I can edit this post so the pics are presented full size, rather than small as is being shown here? Thank you.

Instead of using the provided link under the picture in the gallery, which is for the linked thumbnail, you can right click over your picture IN THE GALLERY and select "copy image location". Then come to the thread, click on the img button just below this comment box, and insert the copied image location. Done. I did the first one above to show the difference.
BTW, very nice work on the artillery tractor.

I believe you sir. Please note that the lettering is part of the model moulding from the manufacturer. You make a valid point however.

This is a Trumpeter offering Andy.
I have also purchased a towed artillery piece (Trumpeter) to go along with the tractor, (makes a nice combo).

What's the engine detail like on the Trumpeter? I nearly got an LZ Models tractor for the engine detail.
Looks good mate.
