Is the old skif 2s1 kit any good or is the new trumpeter one way better,it costs about twice the skif, thinking of one for an Iraq or Iranian version froom their war of 1980-1988

Having built the Skif recently, it took a resin turret, resin wheels, PE, a metal gun, and Fruil tracks to make a decent looking, mostly accurate finished product. And I'm no rivet counter. The detail on the kit is very soft or just not there, fit is ok, tracks are horrible, wheels are inaccurate etc. I'd save the cash and get the Trumpeter.
