The interest for the 75 Anniversary of WWII campaign seems to be 'eh'.
Maybe the rules were to restrictive so how about something like this:
Any figure, tank, plane, ship, vehicle, diorama that represents the Polish fighting forces during World War II.
This opens subject matters up greatly. Anything that the Poles used to liberate their homeland (even thought tragically it didn't quite work out the way the hoped).
From Pzl P11 fighters to Spitfires, from the ORP Orzel to the British loaned submarines, from 7TP light tanks to Sherman Firelflys and IS-2s.
The Poles used weapons from all the allies during their struggle. They flew planes, drove tanks and sailed in ships made by the French, British, American and Soviets.
The 7TP tank I would have used for the 75th WWII anniversary, I'd use for this build, if it flys (plus I'm making the ORP Blyskawica for a Battle of the Atlantic build in MSW).
I suggest starting the campaign September 1st, the anniversary when Poland was invaded.

Somehow THIS new proposal sounds more restrictive than your previous edition! THIS one looks like it's to be Polish, Polish, or... Polish! Personally, I think your broader early / start of WWII idea sounded, and still sounds, more interesting (and, having little that is properly Polish in my stash, more likely for me to get into).
If I might suggest... Just keep bumping along your other proposal a bit - folks will come across it and look in. By me, the general idea sounded very open and seemingly attractive and maybe folks are just mired in other stuff right now. I KNOW I am - They'll come around!

Thanks, Paul.
Bob has a good point that I need to be patient. It's only February.

Hi,
I'm game for both ideas, whichever will reach its official stage.
Cheers,
Greg

I'll keep a watch for both proposals and see what we get for interest. I think I need a total of 10 interested parties before I can submit an official campaign proposal.
What ever happens, I plan on doing 7TP tank for Armorama, a Grom class destroyer in the MSW for a Battle of the Atlantic campaign and a Lublin RXIII for Aeroscale - all Mirage kits, of course.

A bump just to put the idea out there again.
I've see we've gotten some other 75th Anniversary themed campaigns out there (glorious!)
How about one to kick of the 75th theme with this one for this fall?

Actually, should this campaign make it past as a proposal, I'd like to call it "The Eagle Unbowed" campaign after Halik Kochanski's book of the same name.
I recommend it to anyone interested in the learning about WWII from Poland's perspective.

One more try!
I figured with the media attention to the 70th anniversary of the Normandy invasion I'd throught he 75th for the start of the war out there again.

Ok, another one more try!
September 1st was the proposed start date for this proposed campaign.
Anything in Polish service durring the Second World War.
I've got the Polish destroyer Blyskawica I'm starting for a 75th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic (it began two hours after the invasion of Poland) and I have a PT-7 tank and a PZL P11 fighter to offer for this build.
I not enough takers are in for a campaing, then I'll start a Blog Build that I'll invite anyone intereted to contrubute to with the same theme - All things Polish from WWII.
So if this doesn't fly as a Campaing, I'll make the first post for the blog on September 1st.

This does not make much sense in polish, it roughly translates to "to hit oneself" or "to shot oneself" but it isn't used in such combination. What did you want to write?
Cheers,
Greg

Hey Michael, no need to be sorry, Polish is difficult language.
I don't frequent any polish language forums, but I'd guess we adopted the english 'bump', otherwise I think that closest to english 'bump' would be 'podbicie', which in turn means to 'bump up' but is closest to the actual act of thread bumping.
Cheers,
Greg
