Some of you may have missed this as it was posted in the main armour forum, I recently completed a review of the Trumpeter T-72B:

Its a stunning kit and I should have a build log started on here soon.

Great review!
I agree a 100% with all your comments, a wonderful -but demanding- kit
Now we need the rest of the family, Trumpeter!!!
PS: well, at least the Trumpeter/Hobby Boss tandem started with the unusual GCT 155MM AUF1 turret on T-72 hull, that is already announced

Thanks Hugo.
Yes, hopefully they will continue the line. At least with this kit it is possible to build lots of T-72B variants without the expense of lots of resin after market. With a set of RMsh tracks, K-1 ERA bricks and ommitting the cross-wind sensor, you can build a basic T-72B.

Well i thinks my 3 dreamed versions of the T72 are in line for the next years (or months perhaps): T72M4Cz, T72AV and T72BV!
I'm Just hoping that Trumpeter will don't do front armor bricks as a one piece plastic part as they did for their T80BV.
Great time

Fantastically detailed review Rob- lots of great sprue shots and the instruction shots indeed show how involved a build this one is going to be. Looks like a real cracker- thanks for getting the review out.

Just picked this kit up. What all do I need to do besides tracks and remove the wind sensor to make it a "BM" for Chechnya? I know BM isn't the right term but I forget the proper one.
