Looks nice, Richard. I would recommend working on color modulation and adding a pin wash. Also, decal solvent will help remove the silvering around your decals.

Thanks for the tip. One problem with the decals is that they are ancient Italeri ones as the DML ones crumbled rather than slide off the backing

You can apply a clear, acrylic coat to fragile decals.

For some reason, thought I had til the end of December to finish this one up. I just the other day pulled it off the shelf as was going to post some progress pictures here today. Oh well.
