Greetings all I want to share with you my build log of
the AFV Club's Sig33.

My first impressions are that the kit looks beautiful but also a lot of small pieces.
I will upload my pics as they come.
That is all for now boys I will post more as I continue this build.
So far I am happy with the progress.
Regards
Horst

Hi everybody a small update.
I am working on the carriage portion of this build
and so far so good. the panels are super thin as you
will see in the attached photo.
Also i ended up with a large gap by the spade.
I will try and fill it later.
I havent figured out as of yet how to submit single photos
as you will not it is a slidshow out of order sorry
i will continue to try and get it right.
until then please if you have any comments please respond.

Regards
Horst

You need the individual [IMG] code. It's provided in the same place that you get the codes for the slide show.

Horst,
Yes, that gap looks really big. I'd recommend that you use a piece of styrene strip, rather than risk putty. hope that helps.

Georg

Hey Christopher and Georg thanks for the pointers.
I failed last night to post a picture got frustrated
and bailed. I will try again tonight.
Yes I will see if I can find a strip of styrene to fill
that space. hopefully I will be able to show more of my
progress to you guys.
I have a question to anyone who can help.
I plan to tow this gun with the Trumpeter SDKFZ/6 and I
was wondering in the towing mode did they remove the
aiming sight during travel?
again thanks to all

Respectfully

Horst

Well it seems that I am on my way.
So to continue the construction here are my pics.

The kit builds up great so far no real issues aside from
the gap by the spade.
I hope you all enjoy this post especially since I got the pic thing down.
I will post more progress pic as they come thanks again
for watching.

Hello all i am back with some more progress pics.
The gun is 99% completed except for the aiming telescope.
I'm not sure if it was attached during travel? if anyone knows
to operating procedure i would appreciate it.
So every thing assembled with no glitches i tried to bend the PE
for i dont even know what you call it a wooden pole that you used to pivot the gun very small and way beyond mt skill set.
i will point it out as the pics come.
also the only area i had to fill with mister suffaces to fill
was the base blate i gueass u would call it and only because i have it in the travel mode.

Here is the noted PE parts that i could not make.

And the easy fix by using molded part provided with the kit.

Please not the styrene strip that i got from my friend thanks Georg!

Thanks for looking and please if you have any comments fire away.
I will post the rest as they come.
Regards

Horst

Hey all i finished the gun and wish to present it to you for
advice and comment.
It was a joy to build and very inspiring to get going on the SDKFZ 6/1.
No problems with the instructions the moldings are beautiful
and the assembly went pretty well i think.
anyway here you go.

Happy Modeling All

Good job Horst. I like the tarp covering the breech.
