Hi Everybody;
O.K. So we get A T-80 with ERA, could this be Getting just a little Bit Boring ! And are they going too start running out of Ideas on what too release next, as we have already talked about just about the only thing left is the BMDs and the MTLBs. IMHO the SPRUT-D sure would be Nice, We have talked about the Terminator and the TOS-1 and we could start thinking about some of the Tank Support Vehicles like the BMOT or the ARV that I sure would like too see more of. Isent it Great too be A Modeler !!!!!

What T-80 variant would this supposed to be? A diesel engined BV? The engine covers seem to be different on the paint guides compared to the BV, but I can't find any references for such a variant.. Is this like a first step (hull) towards a much awaited T-80U?

It's a Ukrainian upgrade of the T-80BV with a diesel engine. Not sure how many were made.

Ah, that makes sense. And my T-80U comment doesn't make sense as the rear hull could maybe be only similar to T-80UD.
Don't suppose the UD variant production reached enough numbers to be deployed in GSFG before the collapse of the USSR?

Hi Everybody;
There were quite a few T-80s produced in all Mks; ! And A large portion was Scraped in the Force Reduction Treaty that was signed with the west. There is a nice shot of a T-80 scrap yard that was posted on the e-net that shows quite a large parts break-down behind a large building and is very useful in trying too add features that are missing from the kits. Now if only somebody will come up with the Arena System then I will be very Happy !

Not sure how many T-80BVD's were made, but they were made POST-collapse of USSR. They were Ukraine's way of making use of all the T-80B and -BV's they had without spare parts.
This gets us one step closer to a T-80UD...
