Matt I have something coming for snuggles for the ledge. Pics one of these days. I think snuggles will approve.
Russell, I am on the fence about the ammo, trouble is I don't have much else to put there. I have found a new hobby shop and will check it out this weekend and see what they have there. I am open to ideas though. The ammo was in the box with the tank and the hobby shops I have been to did not have anything that worked either way.
I was not really happy with these figures to be honest, the poses are not what I was looking for but they were the only US tank crew I could find. It is ruff finding model stuff in Taiwan when you don't speak Chinese.

It's too late for this idea, but here goes, in these kinda street based dio's I think doing a track repair job would work well, i.e. having one of the track runs partially laid out in front of the tank, with some track maintenance taking place, that kinda thing, would give any figures that are standing around a purpose.
I like the figures, the guy on the barrel and the guy stood on a bottle top/secret weapon.
Went to the new hobby shop the round about way.. that is another story. Of course they have a US tank crew repairing a track from verlindin in the store. Trouble is they are not dressed for cold weather like the guys I have.
I am in the process of opening two of the tubes the rounds were shipped in and will put them next to the bottle cap guy with the tops and the opened rounds laid out next to him. Basic story like is they crew was loading the ammo, stopped for a break, one guy on the barrel and one guy smoking. May name it "smoke em if ya got em"

Ok guys, I am calling this one done. Thanks for all the help and feed back. Its not perfect but then I never make anything that is. I am happy with it, well mostly
And Matt as promised something special for snuggles... I hope he likes it. (bit hard to get a good pic of it)
Now on to the PZ III and after that trip to the new hobby shop there is a new firefly sitting in the dark scary drawer... Poor little tank

Easy8 ,
Nice job. I like the ammo and stowage placement on the street. Overall, just a bit light on the weathering (MHO) ... but you're working out of a hotel room -- outstanding dedication!
And I love that unsuspecting pigeon ... uh ... Snuggles' new play-toy!

Thanks for the kids don't words. I went light on the weathering on purpose. Just did not want the heavy weathered look on this one. I will admit that the hotel held me back a little as well.
I had to give snuggles something to keep his attention off of the little ball rolling around.

Is the little Panzer III gonna be making an appearance on the great and wondrous tinternet, as a build log? maybe?
It may make it as a painting log.. I started to take pics of it as a build log and soon made a shocking discovery. I had purchased the little bugger as a relief from the poor academy kit I had just finished. However to my dismay this kit is an add extra stuff to a really old an crappy dragon kit. The basic hull and parts are so old the gray plastic has yellowed. I have the tank about 3/4 built but there is filler every where and the detail is well just not there. I have yet to find plastic stock anywhere to allow me to scratch much. I am currently cleaning the two ejector pin marks and two sprue attachment points from the eleven million track pieces this kit has. So when I get it to the paint stage I will put it on the tinternets.

Those are Mini art figures...I detest that set, they should have made the heads in one piece ..not 5 pieces..they don't look right after you glue them. The tank helmets come in 3 parts... nice building work though. I just hate that Miniart USA Tankmen set...

Thanks for the comment, I agree about the figs, those heads are such a pain a day the faces are not great either, but you work with what you have.
