Hello everyone,
I'm after a su-152 kit. Which of the trumpeter kits is the better one? Or are there significantly better, non-trumpeter kits?
The kits I have in mind are the following two:
- 05568
- 01571

I really enjoyed the Tamita JSU-152,I think it's about five years old.
I can't speak for the Trumpy kits,I have heard that the Bronco kits were nice
I would also try Googling those kits for reviews

Apparently the trump kits are superior to the tamiya one. I can get a good deal on trumpeter kits, which is why im after one of these.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, having built the Tamiya kit,I thought it was great. So build your Trumpeter then.

First decide if you want to build the SU-152 or the JSU-152. If I'm not mistaken the former was based on the KV and the latter on the JS.

A little bit of confusion here: Tamiya donīt make a SU-152. They have a ISU-152. The SU-152 was based on a KV chassis and the latter ISU-152 on the IS chassis. Similar, like the StuG III and StuG IV, but not the same.
I donīt have neither of these, but for what I can remember the Tamiya ISU-152 is a great kit and one of this brand best kits. Bronco SU-152 have a few problems but was nonetheless far better than Trumpeterīs offering which had more problems, like all of their recent KV kits (the first ones were, and still are, excellent).

Based on what I have seen and heard about, the Trumpeter kit is the best overall. Bronco's kits may be better in some details, but they may have some fit issues. The Easter Express kit is ok, but a bit crude.

Again, those are ISU, not SU.

Thanks for all the replies, and I'm sorry for not doing proper research beforehand.
I'm after SU kits, not ISU, so I guess tamiya and dragon are out.
That leaves me with Orient Express, Trumpeter and Bronco. From what I gather, the Bronco SU kits have the best details, and they are the kits I'll be getting.
Once again, thanks for help!
