I thought Tamiya issued an 88mm with Afrika Korps figures shortly after they issued their first 88mm kit. I distinctly remember there being two differently priced kits -- one with figures, one without. Am I imagining this?

I think the 88mm gun is from italeri. The figures and other bits are tamiya. I'm not a 100%sure though.

Interesting repurposing of their accessories kits and ancient 88mm.

This is Italeri's 1/48 '88, and was only released 2 - 3 years ago. Probably looks better than Tamiya's ancient 1/35 one.
