A colleaugue of mine who was in Eritrea a couple of years ago sent me this photo.The vehicle hit an Anti Tank mine. All of the soldiers on board escaped serious injury and the vehicle was left with reduced mobility even with the loss of an entire wheel and the tires on either side deflated. This compared to an M113 which would have sufferred a mobility kill and penetration of the hull with serious crew injury. An interesting point for those who question the survivability of the Stryker.
