Yes, the Trumpy IS-3m is very decent. It's an older kit, but on par with the Tamiya IS-3. Pretty much a copy of the Tamiya kit, with all the changes to make it a IS-3m. You will need to upgrade the tracks from the rubber band style included in the kit.

I concur, the old TRumpeter kit is quite good.
Very tempted to do that one too, I gather the fuel drums are not standard at least different from kit ones?

They are, they look like single piece units.

What I don't recall now is if the Trumpeter kit comes with the reinforced/wider wheel's hubs -accurate for a M model- or if it brings the "Tamiya-ish" ones, right only for the earlier versions of the JS3...

It's got a different wheel type for sure, I was going to use them for a modernized JS-2.
