Hi all,
I would like an help to find good scans of good drawings of T-54, 55 and 62.
I need the drawings of T-54/55 to see if I can obtain one or two decent models by kitbashing all the old kits of many firms I have.
The drawings of T-62, instead, are to try to develop drawings of North Korean tanks Chonma, Pokpung and Songun.
Could anyone help me, please?
Regards
Massimo

You may get what you are looking for in the original manuals and parts catalogs, and two books that were published by Uralmash - "T-54/T-55" and "Tanks of 1960s". These two books have the original blueprints published inside. But obviously, everything is in Russian.

Hi Nito,
thank you for your drawing, it is nice but I hope to find better ones, with scale drawings too. I think that good drawings have been published by the Russian magazine M-Hobby, but I haven't them.
The same for the interesting drawings on the thread you've linked, they are interesting but without references to scale them.
Hi Alex, I wouldn't buy any book. I hope to find a good scan.
Regards
Massimo

Yes, thank you very much. I have found a good drawing of T-55 on M-Hobby, but not yet a good drawing of T-54 and, in particular, of T-62.

I too have been looking for a good accurate drawing of the T-62 so I can do something about the horrible rear end of the Trumpeter kit.

Hi Andy and HP,
I've seen the discussion on Missing Lynx, and I'm impressed for that work of comparison.
I hoped something better from the Trumpeter.
Anyway, if we shift the red shape (the last published) 1 mm downwards to center it with the upper plate, things become more acceptable. Some further improvement could be done by inclining a bit the suspension bracesdownwards. I can convive with an extra length of 2,5 mm and with a ventral plate too close to the ground. Certainly, it's better to correct the inclination of the rear plate.
Regards
