Not a great build.. but then again I'm not a great modeler! Just thought I'd post the pics and see what Hell I get

Still not done.. some parts are just there for the pics, not correctly glued yet.

Very nice Hisham I have this kit too and can't wait to clear the bench of a few other projects to be able to start. Thanks for sharing.

Great looking build Hisham. Are you planning to do it in the standard Iraqi sand colors?

Well, it's basically finished.. just need to figure out how to slack the tracks.

Thanks, guys, for the encouragement.. and yes, Karl, I'm going to paint it desert yellow.

Now back to finishing my Maxx-pro while I wait for the paints to get here in the mail

I think the white background makes the yellow color look closer to reality

Well, I just meant that it's just an OOB build with nothing extra added to it. I tried to add the fuel lines to the exterior tanks, but that kind of went south.. so, I didn't do the rest

Hi Hisham,

Nice job so far. I think it is a clear and nice built. Go ahead and maybe you can arrange also a suitable dio.

Cheers

It looks good, Hisham. I look forward to seeing your progress on it.

That's a great kit...I had a great time building it. It just about builds itself. To get the slack in the tracks, I just glued them to the tops of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th road wheels.

Nice intense color for the rust. I hope you get the paints soon and show us the next steps.

Very clean build. If you are going with the salt chipping method, I would recommend using sand, instead. It has the same effect, but not the tendency to melt, like salt.

Hisham you ve forgotten to put the rear fender supports on! They go over the curved rear portion of the fenders... Nice clean build... How could you resist adding all the details ?????

You've got a Hell of an eye for detail, Chris!

I didn't forget, it's just that to put them on I have to glue the top hull to the bottom hull and close it up.. while I still need to take the tracks off to paint the underside then put them on again.. so, I decided to keep those parts till I'm done painting so I can close it up... and I'm still waiting for the paints

As for adding details.. I'm afraid it's not a matter of resisting.. I'm just not that good of a modeler I tried to add the fuel lines to the outer tanks, but that went kinda south, so I didn't go any further
