Cool project. Definitely a lot of hits to fix on that Tiger.

Looking forward to see more.

Thank you for all the feedback so far, I completed the impacts and applied a thin coat of primer.

Looking really good.
Are you going to install a set of transport tracks?

Richard - Terribly sorry, Ill throw out the tank and start over!

Karl - I will be keeping the combat tracks on - Im going to depict this Tiger as if it JUST got back to the rear from the engagement - and prior to the entrainment. Im going to have loose tools, shell casings, and other items strewn about the deck to round out the chaotic look of just returning.

Great job replicating all of the places where the shells impacted.
I wonder what happened to the driver's viewport... If it was removed, wouldn't it leave the crew open to incoming fire ?

Tommy I wish I had a good answer, but from LT. Zabel's account the Tiger took several 76.2mm impacts to the front, one of which may have ripped off the vision block armor. Since none of the crew were wounded in the engagement, I assume the vision block itself wasn't smashed. Lt Zabel's account really only indicates that the crew experienced shaking and loud bangs during the entire ordeal - which is truly remarkable considering the punishment the tank took.

Update: Painted the Tiger with the AK Interactive Panzer Grey Color Modulation set, also painted the tracks and the red oxide where the vision block armor would have been. Hopefully next weekend I can get more accomplished.

The color modulation may be difficult to make out in the pictures. sorry.
