I built this a while back it is not finished yet however still needs more detailing. My son accidently knocked it over so now I have to fix the hoist section. I am thinking small drill bit and nail insert to fix this any thoughts would be appreciated. And yes it is an rc conversion

I would drill and pin the boom. It will be much stronger than just gluing it. By the way, it is an M728 CEV (Combat Engineer Vehicle), It is not an M60 CEV and not a tank.

You're right, a drill bit and a pin in your kid will definitely teach him not to knock things off the shelf again. Of course that's the expensive way to go because you'll need an Attourney to deal with child protective services.

That said, very cool build!
