Hi all,
bevore I'm too old - I intend to build a RC-Modell of the Radar-Station P-40/1S12/1RL128D "Long Track" in Scale 1/35 with RadioControll.
It is possible that I fail - It is here the right place to report about the progress of my project?
The basic of this model will be the Kit from PanzerShop with some additions from other Kits and some scratching.
In the times of the cold war I served a few years on this radar-station in the sam-4/sam-6 (Krug/Kub) system.
Greetings from Germany.

That will be a challenge ;-) Getting the tracks to function reliably with RC will be a challenge. Friulmodel tracks might work for a time but I think they will break after some time. A working suspension will also be tricky ...
Please post reports on the progress with this ambitious project

Thank you !
Well , it's your own.
I had to add a couple of things : 1.5 set T -62 kit ( Trumpeter ) running on the wheel & pinion .
2 sets of Friul T-72 track .
Give me an e -mail address because the plans are still there , sent over there .

Good luck! Although I would not bother with RC, you will have enough to do anyway
Some details hots:

@Juge75
Hi,
I have allready two Kits of T-62 (Trumpeter), for RC a T-34 RC-Kit (Tamiya) ...
For the suspension I intent to use a suspension-kit from RBModel for the Abrams M1A1.
At this time I check the measurment (and some details) of the kits with my knowledge, pictures etc. F.e. the suspension-arms from the T-62 seems to me too short for a AT-T-chassis.
Greeetings,
Andreas.

Hi all,
between some works I'm looking for the right color of the vehicle - I like the color of the late 70th from the soviet army. It was a uni-color between oliv-green and olive-brown ...
Exist somewhere a online-shop to buy this color for painting a model-vehicle?
Greetings,

Very nice! Even though it at times seems so, it never actually throws the tracks... great!
One thing I noticed though: the two last wheels on the right side don't really wanna roll...
Keep at it and show us the beast working

... no, I don't stoped - I only breaked.
Now I have made the hood-front. The original part of the hoddd-front from panzershop has a too oversimplyfied hood-grill and I removed it and maked a new one (the subpart of the hood-front that I maked is to push and remove it from the lower-part of the vehicle):
Than I maked a hod-front-panel to place at front of the hood:
I assembled the hood-front and the hood-front-grill
and for a better photo I pushed it on the base:
Greetings - I hope the next came soon ...
