Would anyone be interested in a Ukraine Conflict Campaign?
There already is a large wealth of Russian military vehicles which are suitable for the conflict, as well pretty of companies are bringing out figures of the little green men. It would be interesting to see vehicles modeled and modified as we have seen in images coming from the conflict.
March marks the 1 year anniversary of Crimea being annexed and this conflict starting, so how about a 21 March 2015 start date and a 21 March 2016 end date.

I'd be interested. I've wanted to build a BTR-70 and I saw one I liked being operated by "battalion Sparta" of the DPR. Some AM tank riders to go with it.

I am in. I have a BTR-70 just waiting for this. Also reently a lot of decal sheets have been released for the conflict.
Russian army - *cough* I mean seperatist manufactured - tanks with "For Stalin" painted on them could be something special to build.

An excellent idea! I think the Meng GAZ Tiger would fit in nicely...

I think this campaign proposal is a great idea. I found this video below which has great shots of T-72's and T-64's in the conflict. These vehicles are a great study in battle damage and weathering. I especially like the T-72 with the lime green ERA bricks.
Best wishes

Well, I think we about reached the "10 interested people" threshold to make a campaign proposal... Is this going to be take off?

Tom- I started modifications to the Black Dog figures that you sent me. Thank you for the great service! Mods are more for variation than quality of the figures as I just wanted something different. Am thinking of somehow adding a child to the "Girls" from Evolution Miniatures figures for this Polite Green Men campaign, but will wait for a start date. So much to work on in the stash!

Hey folks,
any new news about kick off for this campaign? I don't want to get too far ahead of anyone else.

I'd like to take part too, here are some examples of my view of those modern AFVs from Ukraine: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/232642&page=1

Is this campaign going ahead? I'd definitely sign up for it.
BTW, does anyone know if any T-64A Mod 1981s have been used in the Ukraine conflict? Or is it only later versions with ERA?
Cheers
Matthew
