Hi All,

Am I right in thinking that for a launch the missile tube cap was always detached before the missile was raised to launch position, or was cap frangible?. Just wondering as I have seen many Zvezda kits finished in "launch" position but with the cap still on?

You are correct. The cap must be dropped before launch. Other modelers have complained that the missile has not been provided therefore they cannot correctly pose the model in launch position.
