Ok, I am sure there are sources around here and other discussion boards to find this, but I am time limited so I will ask this here. What do I need to augment the Takom C2 MEXAS kit to get me to a tank used in combat in Afghanistan? If I use the Legend Update set #1285, will that get me there with a few other tweaks, or do I need more sets?
TIA
Brad

Use Set LF1285 but leave off the rectangular cooling unit box on the left side of the turret bustle.
You can also consider leaving off one or both of the improvised front fender extensions to in order to show a "combat" vehicle.
If you are time limited you can decide which other tweaks you want to add.
With the Legend set you'll end up building a Leopard C2 along these lines...

Legend came out with 3 great update sets for the Takom C2 MEXAS to fix the issues with the kit.
LF1273 C2 MEXAS Update is cheeper that the expensive LF1285 Update/detailing set, which includes a lot that is not really needed.
If you are planning on a limited time build, go with LF1273, and leave off the cooling unit, gives you all that is needed to build the Panzer .
The last Legend set LF1284 is the stowage set.

Anthony,
I've checked out the LF 1273 set, and there doesn't seem to be much to it. What makes this set crucial to accurizing the model for a Canadian tank? Isn't 1285 more appropriate?
