1/35 Italeri
M4A1 Sherman
started as weekend fun but.. old Italeri
rubber tracks fell apart and no glue was able to hold em together.. pure horror
I repaired barrel and side hatch on turret, did some textures and so on...

Weathering looks superb, very realistic. What about the lighter color on the sprocket wheels and bogey arms though?

Lighter colour is probably dried mud on those areas far enough from the damp ground to dry out - the fresh "wet" stuff on the wheels & track looks darker. But I'd add some of the lighter "dry" mud on the hub of the idler too...
Looks great for a 40-year old kit! (Back in the day it knocked spots off the Tamiya Sherman!)
