This is my take on Dragon's Pz III N in Tunisia. This is the kit that comes with the extended "winterketten" so I substituted a set of Tristar workable tracks. The sand bags are a Panzer Art set. I scratchbuilt the jerry can rack from strip stock.
I made a small base.
Paint is Tamiya, mixed by the old Mark I eyeball. Weathering is a combination of oil, acrylic and enamels.

Really nice results on this one, Ian!! Mark III's are my favorite German tank. Perhaps some more dust on the tracks & roadwheels, they look a bit clean.

Hi Ian,
Very good job. I like the build, very clean, and good weathering. Agree that tracks and roadwheels should have little more dust.
I like very much the jerry cans rack, very realistic and well done.
Not sure about the sand bags on the forward hull. Maybe they reduce too much the driver's sight, i.m.o.
Regards
Giovanni

Looking at the photos now, I agree some dust is needed. You have to love digital photography.
Giovanni that makes sense, but I have seen photos where the bow gun and vision port were completely covered by track links and sandbags. Apparently the driver relied on his binocular sight and the Tank Commander.

Think that's a bit harsh, maybe he did not want weather his model too much,I know some times weathering can be the hardest part of modelling.
It looks fine as is

Not sure how that was harsh, since it was obviously a joke due to the shortage of car washes in the North African desert. Plus it was in reference to the previous post that stated it was too clean - which was certainly harsher.

I got the sarcasm.
When you put the tank, the time frame and the location in perspective, cleaner makes sense. Tunisia in the late spring is more temperate a climate. After the rainy season it is quite pleasant especially in the higher areas. These were basically brand new tanks arriving just before the end of hostilities.
I agree additional dust was needed and I have done so. I have not gone overboard though based on what I just stated here.
