Hey everyone,
Are there on conversions to make an Eastern Express BRDM-1 into a 9P27 or 9P110 tank destroyer? If not how much surgery would be needed to modify it?
Thanks for any help.

The only AT BRDM-1 that I know of is the full resin kit by Armo.
It costs 66 USD plus shipping.
Here is the url of the page. http://www.jadarhobby.pl/armo-35019-135-brdm-wtrzmiel-at1-snapper-tank-destroyer-p-29529.html
You can see how detailed this kit is.

I'd wait for Trumpeter. They have BRDM announced for this year, so the AT version is not too far away.

It was a company called Trophy Models who advertised in the verlinden catalogue.
Historex still have some in their discontinued range section of their site.

Keep in mind those Trophy Models/Verlinden items are FULL KITS, not conversions.
If you go for a full kit, better choose the Armo one that Olivier mentioned, much better detail.
Cheers,
Christophe

Hi Guys;
I remember the Trophy series as I had one of them, and they were A Brick. And they were way over scale, they were suppose to be in 1/35 but were over 1/32nd. To Be Truthful, they were Not worth Collecting ! If trumpeter is going to release A 1/35 scale kit then they will be worth it, But Dont Hold Your Breath. Now are we sure that is was the BRDM-1 and Not the BRDM-2 with maybe the Sagger version, which would make sense as they already have the BRDM-2.

Ha! Yeah, I have a Trophy/Verlinden kit...as said, it is a FULL resin BRICK. Meaning, if you want ANYTHING under those hatches, you will have to drill and mine them out because the kit hulls are SOLID. On the other hand, they have some hefty weight to them...and they are, indeed, 1/32 scale. Good for a airplane dio?

Thanks for all the advice guys. Now that Trump released a BRDM-1, I'll just wait around to see if they release another version.

Hi Guys;
"Yea" I Luv It When I Have To Eat My Words !!!!!
This Should be A Good kit, and we stand A Good Chance of one of the Anti-Tank versions, atleast I Hope So.
And I would really like the Snapper version, as the Missiles were the same one that was used on the Hind-Copter.
Another thing that I would also like to see is A Complete Interior and No Rubber Tires. I Know Wishful Thinking.

That's the version I'm hoping for, the Snappers look pretty cool mounted on the BRDM.
