Hey,
I'm building Trumpeter's BTR-70 which sports a very nice interior so I decided to leave the hatches open so it can be viewed from outside to a certain degree.
Now, I'd like to add an extra touch to that interior by adding some personal items laying around. Only that I seems to be stuck at the folded newspaper idea. What else could be added that would be typical for the Afghanistan era?
Thanks a bunch!
Cristian

Hi;
You could add personal Weapons like AK-74s, Helmets, Water Bottles. Different forms of Clothing, dragon made Weapon sets of Russian Small Arms, and you could use A wide Assortment of Ammo canisters etc;!
GOOD LUCK; MIKE.

In this documentary (watch from around 23 mins into the clip) you get to see the interior of a BTR. They have a radio, a few Adidas stickers and a picture of Bruce Lee.
Usually, the BTR's had a spare wheel on the roof, tied down.
