I finally got around to finishing the AFV Club M109A6 Paladin that I started a long while ago as a build log on Track-Link. You can see the whole build there.
I had no issues with the kit and really enjoyed building it. I also used a portion of the Legend M109A6 Stowage set (LF 1271) on it. The instrument panel next to the driver's hatch is a copy of one in the Black Dog M109A2 interior set.
I finished it as a howitzer from B Btry, 1-41 FA, 3 ID in the initial invasion of Iraq in March of 2003.
I also added stowage to my M992A2 FAASV and re-marked it to go with the Paladin.
As always, all comments are welcomed.

The Paladin looks great with all the stowage added into it- particularly the tarpaulin covered piece on the rear that is slightly over-hanging. Its a nice touch also marking up the FAASV to go with it.

Looks like you had lots of stowage leftover from the Thunder Run builds. Both look great Gino.

Thanks guys. The AFV Club Paladin is a great kit. It was fun figuring out what stowage to use on it. I only used about half the Legend set on the Paladin and most of the rest of it on the M992. The set has a lot of items in it that was even too much for an OIF 1 gypsy wagon. It is a great set.

Nice work, Gino. I've gotten side-tracked on my build after purchasing the Friul tracks and then discovering they are not continuous, but length and link.

Beautiful work Gino. I appreciate the details in your build log on track link. Those details will come in handy when I get around to building mine.
The FAASV is a great piece. I'm surprised AFV Club hasn't released one.

Both great models. I like your work, you have had a particular attention to the stowage and their fixations.

Thanks Brent and Alex. I do like making sure all the stowage is properly tied down and secure.

Gino-- great workmanship. What brand and color did you apply to the vehicles? Did you prime the vehicles? If so, what is the base color?
Many thanks

Hi DJ. Thanks for the compliments. The base color is Testors Model Master Sand, FS 33531. No primer at all, I never prime.
