Hi,

I built the M113 "clean" about 8 years ago, I didn't know about weatherings and stuff those days. So recently I decided to build a base and some details for it, for something to do while the glue dries on the PzKpfw2 I am building at the moment.

I had some old figures sprues sitting in a box, so I built and added them too. I suck at painting figures, but I guess it is OK, hopefully next ones will improve. I will appreciate advice on figures especially.

Thanks for looking!

It looks good overall. The figures are the wrong time period though. They look like the Dragon Delta Force Somalia figures, which represent Soldiers from the early '90s. Their gear, uniforms, and weapons are all wrong for a Vietnam era M113A1. The biggest inaccuracy is the Ranger helmets on two of them.

The base meshes well, with the M113 weathering. Practice is just that. And, all builds are practice. Nice finish. Very smooth and good sheen.
