I'm in search of some (2-3) strapless modern-era Dhsk ammo cans for some recent Russian/Soviet armor builds.
In theory, Tank (Tahk) from Russia makes them, but out of stock everywhere I've tried.
Similar to these, with strap, out of stock at HLJ.

ET and Voyager make photoetched ones

and while a less attractive option, still out of stock everywhere I can find.
None on Ebay in the states right now either.
I get all the love for US modern and WWII and for the German ammo boxes, but come on SOMEBODY has to do a set of these things.. they are everywhere worldwide since 1946..
Anyone have any US sources for any of the above??

Not in the US but some webstores in Australia and Germany have the PE ones.

Have you tried R & J Products? They might have some on hand know they carry the line. They are super to deal with.

Chris, thanks for the advice. I've got an email out to them. Seeing your name reminded me to try Chris M at CRM in St Louis as well.
Here's hoping..

The Military Miniatures Warehouse (milminwh dot com) appears to have the Tank ones in stock.

Chris, if you've got two resin ammo boxes from Panzershop or second choice AEF, I would be in your debt.
I am hoping to mount them on the gun, so open is the first choice, but I'll take what I can get. I've got plastic kit ammo boxes galore, running the gamut from ancient Tamiya to modern but rather than carve off molded details and add bits, I'd like to start with a crisp resin box.
I'd love to pay you for postage or I've got a bunch of stuff to offer as trades.
Shoot me a message here or MLDHOC at Yahoo.
Hoping to finish a couple for Armorcon.
