Are there two version of the same model kit? I was web searching for pictures of the actual vehicle and also for any built up pictures of the SP Designs kit. I came upon an Ebay sales listing for a built up model for sale. There are over half a dozen pictures of the ebay post. I compared the built up model to the parts pictures shown SP Design website and SAAM website. The stowage boxes and antennae arrangement is different.

Not sure, there is not a lot of info on the system. I have seen the model you speak of, it is possible he has more info on it than I do (yes that is possible ) or that it was assembled incorrectly. No worries, Sergej does his models off of real vehicles, so there is at least one in the world that looks like the kit he makes.

Hi Jacques
The stowage is so different. The Ebay model is missing the fan /frame antennae and instead he has the extendable mast. Even the zip boxes are different size shape. Yet the seller calls his kit SP Designs. A Google image search does turn up BOTH variations.

In my site, I have uploaded a couple of pictures of one preserved in a French museum. They are not great as the access to the top of the vehicle was impossible but they could help a bit.

Object photo please. So the rest of us not so well versed in Russian Armor might learn a bit more about the topic.

Here is the link to the Ebay model being sold. There are thirteen clear pictures of the completed model for sale. There is one extendable mast antenna at the back left hand corner of the hull and there is a thicker extendable mast antenna near the forward left hand side of the hull top.
He is missing the frame antenna that has the wires spread.
The zip boxes look different too.

There one photograph here with the frame antennae deployed and curiously the frame seems a whole lot bigger than found in other photgraphs
Below is a great photogallery (25 pictures) of a whole system deployed. Seems to suggest the owner was a veteran in a signals unit.

Maybe you are right. Quite possibly the Ebay seller mislabelled? He probably used the SP Designs kit as a base and modified it further?

Man, I need more caffiene some days...
As stated, the Auction is most likely a МП-23...Sergej had a kit of it back in 2009 or so. Mislabelled auction.
