Great looking Horch, I like how the canvas top looks. Very nice weathering, not overdone but very effective. That is still one of my all time favorite kits.

Nice job!

What did you do to show the paint peeled areas?

I'm impressed!

Veru impressive and much well done on chipping. After all this abuse of the nehicle id add a bended fender and maybe a broken - missing grille from the cooler protecting fron site . Nice work there

The chipping is very well done, I like the pastel work too.

Question - the roof is a canvas material. I see where you have gone with the DAK over coat on a German Grey base. Would the canvas have had the grey under coat too?

Shouldn't the two holes above the tag plate on the back be filled in?

Looking really good. I love the finish.
A static model or will it be used in a dio?

Good job on the paint chipping ,but I spotted a few things that you should look out for ...I think you put the side pieces for the canvas top on inside out as the metal bars are part of the framing and should be on the inside ...the 2 holes above the liscense plate are there for a convoy lite...and third you have added a decal from the 2nd SS division to the front and AfrikaKorps decals in the back...Sorry but Das Reich was no where nere the desert campaigne..These are things we learn with experience and only nit pickers like me will see them...like I say it is better to find out here than when you put it down if front of a judge at a show.. Looks great and like I said before your paint chipping is awesome ...

I find that I am one of the most critical people on this forum ...please take all the comments I make here and about any other kit as constructive and I'm in no way trying to bash anyones work ...I have been a judge for over 15 years and have been known to be tough ...I just want to help !! really!! #:-)

War, Love the chipped paint. You will have explain how it was done. One minor observation: I think you forgot to glue the tow pintle on the rear bumper. Should be an easy fix.

HI, well to start off the paint chipping was done by just taking a fine tip brush and painting the chips on, it works quite well, and the top bows are on the way that the kit told me to put them on, and yes there are a few parts missing, i will have to dig the box out of storage and put them on. The canvas top is grey with coat of desert tan over it, and it is chipped off where the top bows would contact the canvas, it looks quite real. I plan to put this thing into a diorama of the Coast road. Thanks for the comments, and i will fix that decal too
