Saw this from Dirk Vangeel facebook site, really bad news as he did very good resin conversions/ accessories... So hurry up to buy if you want something from him...

Announcement:
Dear modelers,
It has been good and we considered this long and hard, but all good things come to an end, as is Pro Art Models.
After 14 years, with effect from January 1st, I have decided to stop with the production of our products.
I would like to thank everyone for the interest in our products and the nice comments that was bestowed on us during the last 14 years.
Furthermore, I would also like to thank my traders who have given me the opportunity to expand my range into what it has become today.
Friendly greetings from the Pro Art Models team!
Dirk

Really bad news. I talked with him in the beginning of the year and he said that he was thinking about stop the proart models. His resin kits are extremely accurate and original. I wish to Dirk success in this new phase of his life.

Sad news indeed. I do understand the decision, but hope Pro Art will be back someday.

All the best to Dirk,
Mario

That would be a nice suprise if they come back.

Many of other brands definitively disappeared after stopping their activity.

Several items are unique and very well done.

Very sad news alright. He has a great range of stuff and all top quality. Maybe he'll sell the molds to some other AM company.

Sad news indeed. I still have a lot of their unbuilt kits, and a slew of their accessories, which were all quite nice. Best of luck to Dirk.

Very bad news !
Pro Art Models kits are excellent and in many cases cover unique subjects.

How could I complete my next Special Forces GMV model without their "US special forces vehicle communication set" ?
I have to rush for an order.

Sad to hear. Pro Art Models made resin kits that no one else made, with plenty of 1/35 "firsts" such as the radios, Javelin ATGMs, and Special Forces GMV and "Warpig" conversion. I am really happy with their products.

Maybe one day they will return or at least make resin kits for another vendor. Good luck, Dirk.

Hello,

did anyone know what happened to the Homepage with the instructions? Is it possible to download them?

Best

I would also like access to those page. I have purchased a few of his products and would like to see the instructions a bit better than those included with the kit.

No, their page has been offline for a few months now. Your only option for the instructions is to post here. Maybe someone has the pdf or scans. Don't hold your breath though. I was looking for some a few months back and got no responses. Sorry.

Regards,

Eric
