Trumpeter has already announced (it's in their catalogue, page 49, item 09505) the SU-101 (even if they labelled it SU-100) which used many parts of the T-44 chassis.

That's AWESOME!!!!! now those of you who are not that interested in the T-44, do not have to listen to "I wish it was a T-44" every time there is a new announcement. (I know there will always be the "I wishes" but this eliminates a major one)

I know, it's a nuisance, BUT, if I know about it a year or more in advance I might not go off and buy an expensive resin kit

I am speechless, looks amazing. Such and important early Cold War tank. What version of the T-44 is this?
