this is such a great news release...with the full interior i assume there will be a detailed drivers compartment as the video appears to omit it..it will be the star of the upcoming nuremberg show

Wow I'm speechless... I never would have expected Miniart to release the first plastic T-44.

I think it's great and a big wow, but I did not see a transmission in the video...still happy.

Could be that the Transmission is still in the developmental stage. The MINIART video IS all done in CAD images, after all...
I'm happy, too...

I kind of had a mental image that MINIART would eventually do a T-44, but certainly not so soon! Hell, I'm not complaining! I'll take a T-44 in plastic anytime, even though I'm mainly a US/Allied fan...

Could be that the Driver's Compartment is still in development- Also see my comment in the same vein regarding the Transmission...

Personally I think Trumpeter has already done a good job on T-72B series and every post of their New T-72B with era speaks highly about the quality and accuracy.

boxart
really wondering about the price, considering it's full with interior, it's the only t44 kit available yet and people want this like mad, the price could be hiked up pretty badly. Really hoping they wont go the Trumpeter / Dragon way and ask 70 euro for a brand new kits at the beginning of the sale....

That's a very nice price for what you get in the kit. Let hope they get all the parts accurate unlike AFV club didn't with their first T-34s.

41 EUR is quite a decent price to pay for this kit.
Trumpeter isn't all that excessively expensive in China and the same goes for Miniart in the EU, I'll cut the companies some slack whenever prices skyrocket abroad due to shipping, tax, etc.

finally..........the glorious T-44.........
I really wondered if T-44 entered combat(test) during WW2, it has been produced about 1000 before the WW2, how come soviet army be such confident without combat testing it
PS: meng, where is your T_72

It was initially deployed to a unit, then pulled back and re-equipped with T-34/85s
