Hello all,
I am working on the Panda 1/35 scale BMD-1 and I noticed in the instructions that they want you to remove the aerial base off of the turret.

I did some research and have found pictures with it still there and some without it. Is there a reason Panda suggests you remove it? Is it a variation issue?

Any help would be great.

I noticed that in many cases the aerial is set at the rear of the hull. I haven't checked if it is linked with a particular version of the BMD (with AT-3 or AT-4).

Don't worry and remove it. That's Konkurs ATGM launcher installation point, not aerial base. The turret shell part is universal (in the kit, for BMD-1 and BMD-1P), hence you are requested to remove it.

Thank you. It was hard to tell as none of the picture I found had the ATGM mounted there or over the barrel.
