Hi Thimothy,
as far as the title of the campaign is concerned, I think it's up to the french guys to decide if it's offensive or not.
And I take absolutely not offense for that.
As Olivier said: Frog pride !
In addition to frogs, snails and cheeses, we have also a lot of self derision in our country !

OK,
Here,I think the idea was to show French Military and resistance to the Germans ???.
I have very many French friends and none take offensive to the Frog term.As I don't to being a Limey.
Anyway,I posted this quite a while ago and no one bothered with it.So here it is again and maybe kick this off.

If the focus of the diorama is still a French Marked vehicle, yes.

Guess you mean a Leclerc MBT as there is no such a thing in the French arsenal. Just like calling a M113 Gavin
Enjoy your build, this kit is a real good basis for detailing.

Don't worry, this AMX 56 denomination is frequently seen but lies on nothing solid. The original name was EPG for Engin Principal de Combat (Main Battle Vehicle). Then the name of the French WWII general was officially given. From then on, the tank has only been named Leclerc sometimes abbreviated in XL.

Isn't Frog on a par with Yankee, Reb, Limey,Ivan, Canuk, Kraut etc. Just a way of labelling a group of peoples. Me I'm a Lincolnshire Yellow Belly (an 18th century name the French gave to the 10th of Foot due to the yellow waistcoat and facing colours) What's in a name.

Quick question. I plan to paint my 30B2 in colors from the '91 Gulf War. Does Tamiya make a color or does anyone know a Tamiya mix that is close to the sandy beige/tan that is used as the base color? I will post this in painting too. Thanks!

Meng's instructions for the kit suggest that Gulf War tanks should be painted in light sand which Tamiya does do an Aerosol for [TS-46], but I don't know of any brush paint equivalent.
