Could anyone tell me the color scheme for the Austrian Police PA-II Turtles. I can only find B&W photos. They look to be a very light color. Was it grey? I don't know what the inter-war Austrian colors were. I would appreciate any help you guys can provide.
I found this conversion set from CMK

that I'm going to try. Thanks in advance.

Jeff, if it's any consolation, the kit was the main feature in Military Modelling magazine this month, but no references were included to that colour scheme or to any materials that might point to it. I only managed to find the same photos that I guess you did and agree that it is a pale looking colour, nothing like the German army dark grey.
Unless you can find colour references to Austrian police uniforms of that period, which might offer a clue as to where they were at in terms of looking like soldiers or deliberately distinguishing themselves from the army , then you're in the realm of speculation. Grey seems likely, but then green or even blue don't seem impossible.
There's always Frenchy of course, he often pulls something out of nowhere... If nothing else comes from this post at least it's been bumped again.

Unfortunately, I aint't got much to offer about this one...You probably have seen these period pics already :
Vienna 1934 :
According to the informations given in this related thread, light grey should be OK :

Sorry, but I also have no clue which color the vehicles were painted when used by the austrian police during "Erste Republik".
There is a Skoda Magazine out there - hard to get, but maybe someone owns it and can provide more information. Look at the bottom of this article: http://www.plastik-modellbau.org/blog/bausatze-vorgestellt-skoda-pa-ii-von-planet-in-172/2013/

Thanks, Merci and Vielen Dank guys. Thanks Frenchy...I saw all but one of those pictures. I like the pale green color in that advertisement. I think I'll use that...after all no one can really dispute it. I really like this kit. It's just a shame that there are not more options to open it up and see the interior. I just got the CMK crew for the Czech version.
Thanks again everyone!
