Available from at least two US on-line stores. Going price seems to be $140 + shipping. Mine shipped today. Just a heads-up for those interested in having this one.

ScaleHobbyist has it for $113... same price as the SCUD-B with the MAZ TEL, or $3 cheaper than the Meng Smerch. I went for the Smerch, but that might be cuz I'm afraid of those Modelkasten-style tracks!

Mine landed in my sweaty little hands this morning. Box is 12 x 18 x 7 and weighs about 4.5#. I'll try to post some pictures tonight.

Photos of the kit as promised. First, though, this is a REALLY nice kit. Cleanly molded with lots of detail. The fine wire basket parts for the missile cradle are separately packed in foam cushioning. There is a full interior which can be seen by lifting the cab and several different posing position options.
There are 22 sprues in grey plastic, 10 sprues in brown for the tracks, 1 of clear parts, plus upper hull / lower hull / cab pieces separately. A nice set of decals, a PE fret, window masks, and 4 small metal axles for holding the missile upright round out the contents.
The R-17 missile is a foot long by itself and will be quite impressive displayed in firing position. All in all this is a beautiful kit with lots of detail – highly recommended. Now the photos.

Thanks for the photos. I also got the kit this week. It is definitely a massive missile.
