I'm wondering if there are any individual 1/35 motorcycle wheels and tyres around. I need them for a diorama. I know tamiya and all have 1/35 bikes, but the wheel housing seems to be molded onto the wheel for all of them. Scratchbuilding is an option but how do I get the tyre tread in?

Could mold and casting of a full wheel, then cut down the resin result work? I can imagine molding a wheel with tire and cutting away the spokes, wheel and rim. Perhaps turning the self molded part copy on a lathe? Just a thought.
Much luck

New Ray makes die cast motorcycles and scooters in 1/32. The tires are separate 'rubber' pieces.
Also, various O-Rings can be tubes or slick tires

It depends on the project you have in mind, but this Tamiya set includes individual wheels :
and so does Masterbox BMW R75 kit #3528 :
The tires themselves are separate parts :

Check out the Wheel-O-Matic 1/35 sets from Swash Design, I think they are also available from Passion Models in Japan.

I built a GreatWall / LionRoar R75 Motorcycle w/sidecar last year which included extra tire parts w/molded-on rims, no spokes though.
Not sure if this helps but they're yours, if you'd like them.
