I started work on the T-44 from MiniArt. Great kit, do not want to stop.

Already assembled and painted the fighting compartment and engine,on engine B-44 added a wiring that will be seen through the open hatches. I add a little chipping and dirt streaks on the walls of the fighting compartment.
Dirt on the floor add a little later.

Great work, your detailed painting in particular is excellent, especially the engine head.
It will be a shame to have the top on.

May I ask is this the 44 for 44M?

Cheers
Scott

And who do we have here a ready to paint and prime?
In short, by himself altered the texture of the casting throughout the turret, adding it to the commander's turret and mask numbers on armor, hinges, handrails added changed.
According to the body where you have added the traces of gas cutting, the log instead of fuel drums (just pretend for a car), slightly bent fenders, and of homemade and so visible. Many details are not present in the frame, until they superfluous. It will be a bit battered car.

Привет, тёзка :-)

Hi, namesake! Nice build this far :-)

I agree with You on the interior colors - IMHO instructions got them wrong. I also like that You build it not zipped all the buttons. However, I'm not quite sure for the unditching log - never seen any photos of 44's with a log.

Keep up the fine work!

T-44 «What if ...» WIP
To make the chips and washing - preparation for further stains and dirt. Next, the model is still cluttered with small things.
Painting - AMMO acrylics, wash - AMMO, chipping effects - AMMO, figure - Alpine miniatures.

Would the Germans still have had rubber rimmed Panther wheels to spare by the time this tank would have deployed enough to give them a chance at capturing it?

Well, the T-44 from MiniArt (35193) in the style of 46 PanzerWaffe ready!

This is the final photo.

Paints AMMO, enamels and pigments - AMMO, Panthers cable - Eureka, Headlight - Elf, Tiger tracks - Friulmodel, Panthers roller - Dragon, small stuff - MasterBox, Alpine - figures.
Something like this.
Well, a couple of photos of the interior, but only in secret.

And I begin to slowly work on the vignette.

And pictures of the finished work with the T-44 "What If?" in the genre Panzerwaffe 46
Main actors vignettes:
T-44 SOVIET MEDIUM TANK (35193) MiniArt
WSS Panther Crew Set (35107) Alpine Miniatures
What can I say about the model? She is gorgeous. The idea to make "alternative" 44 came as soon as I saw the color options releases from MiniArt. At that time, I asked the question - why are many models of German tanks E-series and the Soviet can not be?
Painting and weathering - AMMO
