Try and use Eduard's Zoom set for the SU-85M, much easier to deal with.

Cheers,

I bought one for the intake grilles as the majority of etch sets depict these as flat planes which they are not. However, as usual Aber's instructions about where to fold the strips are a bit vague and if you get that wrong, they won't fit. I did make a jig to form them but then found that 3D Zavod on Shapeways does them and all you need to do is insert the brass rods. They are brilliant and by far the best solution I have yet seen for these assemblies. I think you can buy enough for three models for the price of the Aber set. You still need separate mesh (Aber S19 is the best match I've found) for the fan outlet but a sheet of that will probably do three models. From what I recall, most of the rest of the fret can be scratchbuilt from styrene, brass and aluminium.

Well oddly enough, a web search on '3d Zavod shapeways' brought up this as the first hit:

http://www.shapeways.com/shops/zavod3d

Was that too difficult? Sorry if I come across as offensive with that question but I do have other things to do with my time than lead people by the nose to things which are really easy to find.
