Looking good, blue-tack definitely seems to be the best solution. I thought that using blue tack would feather the edges (at least that’s what aircraft builders use it for) but perhaps you pressed it down at the edges to get the hard edge?
Also very nice scheme, which country used this? Sweden tested this tank out in the 1950’s so I have always wanted to build a whif tank in splinter camo, like the strv 103. I guess it is time now with Takom’s new releases of the AMX-13
Cheers
Jakob

Thanks guys. Jacob, it is a French pattern, and yes, I did push down the edges to get a hard edge, there are a few places I need to touch up where I didn't press it down enough.

I'm in the middle of one of these now. How prevalent was the searchlight in French use on this model? Did they keep the round and have a square one too? Pics with it mounted or stowed are pretty sparse.
Again I'm referring to the AMX13 90 in French use only.

This is not an official camouflage pattern. It is a camouflage made with mud. For some reason Takom took it as an actual pattern.
Concerning the searchlight, it was stowed during the daylight hours and mounted only for night operations. It was an IR light but you could use it in white light by removing the IR filter.

Made with mud eh? Interesting. You learn something new every day!
