Dear all, I would like to make a cable for my sdkfz 222 armour car headlight, but kinda struggle for this task. Could anyone kindly give me some advise and instruction please? what sort of material is best used for this purpose? where exactly shall I connect the cable from both end? Thank you! Would be really appreciated!

Hi

Acording to this picture:

http://svsm.org/gallery/Sdkfz222/IMGP5201

or this video :

it looks that the headlight cable is not visible (contrary to the horn one). I guess it should runs through the mounting tube

Should you want to make such a cable or conduit for another model, I almost always use small diameter solid-core solder, which is available in diameters of .011", .023" and .032" (plus larger sizes of course).

Very flexible, no "spring" so it stays where you bend it and takes glue and paint well.
