panther ausf.a fender and indicator?

thesedays i am prepareing for make panther ausf.a late.

but i have some question

1)
in this picture, there is a thin stick.
i dont know what is exactly name of this part.
it seems to be called indicator or rob or styrene
anyway what i want to know is

1.did all pnather "ausf.a late" had this sticks at least when it was just produced at factory?

2.any maker make good resin or etched parts for it?(except voyager basic set)

2)we can see also the "double style(i dont know what is correct name of this also )" front fender.

did all panther ausf.a late had this double fender at least when it was just produced at factory?


there is no this parts at dragon panther ausf.a late kit.
but,
because i always make very new condition vehcle, this is importnat for me. i wanna make "fully equipped" tank.

please tell me about this if you can.
i really need help.

I don't know. My guess is 1. a ball stuck on the end so no one would get poked at the factory or 2.an indicator for the edge of the tank for a driver at the factory.

What is the tube at the opposite end of the from the ball?

I think it's the hinge pin for the fender or just some anonymous part laying around. No driver could see it driving.

Its a width indicator pole, normally vertically mounted on the track cover to assist the driver in judging the vehicles clearance from obstacles to the side when he is driving opened up. These poles are available from various aftermarket manufacturers.

Steve is right, in this photo the pole has been removed from its usual position (see the plug on the left edge) and stored over the mudguard
