... they stuck an M2A1 105mm barrel, yoke and breech straight from the carriage onto 2 stock M4A4's, one of which is the subject of a build I just started. Clean up a stock mantlet from pretty much everything, close up all the seams plus openings and this is where I am at right now.

There is only one existing picture that I know of with the gun installed. There is another of the same M4A4E1 freshly arrived at the proving grounds from the factory in a book but with an empty turret.

Other side done.. ish.. and trial fitted the barrel to see how it needs to sit in the mantlet. And yes that is a GAA V8 in the background for atmosphere

As a result of some moderator *sshole on a Facebook group who felt like being a rule-Nazi I will not be continuing my contributions to this forum anymore. It has been nice talking to people on here, I am out.

You shouldn't stop posting just because someone disagrees with you about what you have posted- sure I guess it would annoy most people if someone was nit-picking over their work but its only the odd person that gets up on their high horse over something trivial like that.
