I had vinyl tank tracks on my panther Ausf A model and one of them snapped in half, not at the joint but right in the middle. How can I go about fixing this?

I've stapled them before and after adding the oil paints for mud you couldn't even tell they were there.

I use fishing line when that happens. Its stronger than thread but you have to be careful or it will cut through the track.

Hi;

Who's kit Is It ! --IMHO there are only Two method's !! One is the Sowing thread and the other is Rubber seal glue, and then Hide the joint under A Road Wheel

GOOD LUCK; MIKE.

Fruile model track is the long term answer. If the vinyl track is splitting, there is a reason. Has it has reached the end of it's service life age wise, or there is too much tension on it.

Exactly! I've always been a big fan of Fruil tracks.

Matthew if you don't have any luck with that I have a couple of Panther tracks from an old Tamiya kit that you can have. They should work. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
