Been looking for some good clear pictures of the plumbing for the external fender fuel tanks. Seems that every picture I find is different in one way or another and now I am thoroughly confused. Does anyone have a good schematic that shows all the lines and fittings? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I remember running in to the same problem when I built my T-55. If I remember I did a search on the net for the plumbing schematic. Try that first. If you come up short I can email you some pics of the lines on my model.

I couldn't get my head round the plumbing from looking at actual tank pictures, I found it much easier to look how someone had done it on their model and repeat that.

Thanks Gary, just what I needed. Thank you. One question just to make sure I am clear about what I am seeing. The outboard line from the front tank runs to the inboard side of the second fuel tank. The inboard line for the front fuel tank runs into the main on the upper hull about the midline of the second fuel tank. Is that correct. Thanks again.

Here is a line drawing of the standard "plumbing".

Olivier, thank you. It seems that there are variations on the plumbing system no? Are the differences based on the manufacturer, Czech, Polish, Russian? Thanks.

The only different system I am aware of is the Czech one because sometimes the rear fuel drums were connected to the main system.
