Hi fellas,

Coming up soon I'll be building Orochi's M3A3 Bradley CFV. My question is about the antenna in this picture. What are they called? Would they be present on the Bradley built from Orochi?

Thanks,
Dustin

The thick antennas on the back of the turret are Duke anti-IED antennas. The Orochi kit does not come with them. Check out my review of the Orochi M3A3 to see some pointers on what needs to be fixed on it. My recommendation, if you haven't bought it yet, buy the Meng M3A3 instead.

They are indeed the counter-IED jammer's antennas. However in practice they're not often mounted outside of places with major IED threats, so they're not exactly required.

Gino,

Thanks for that link. Nice review. I already bought the kit awhile back for $20 if i recall. I do wish I had the MENG kit, but I don't.

Thanks for the info on the DUKE antenna. Can you recommend a set for this kit?

I don't like the fact about adding the bolt heads.. That's just nonsense.

I'm sure I'll have more questions when I start this build. Thanks again.
